The Remote Syslog page allows you to send operation logs and system logs of the MM910 to the syslog server for unified management and storage.
Parameter |
Description |
|---|---|
Syslog Status |
|
Server Address |
Specifies the syslog server IP address or domain name. NOTE:
If the transmission protocol is TLS, the syslog server address must be a domain name. |
Server Port |
Specifies the server port number. |
Lowest Log Level |
Specifies the lowest level of logs sent to the syslog server.
|
Syslog Protocol |
Two protocols are available: BSD-syslog and IETF-syslog. |
Transmission Protocol |
Log transportation supports three protocols: TLS, TCP, and UDP. NOTE:
If the transmission protocol is UDP, log data loss may occur. TLS is recommended as the transmission protocol to prevent plain-text transmission of logs. |
Upload Root Certificate |
If the transmission protocol is TLS, the root certificate of the syslog server must be uploaded. NOTE:
The root certificate file must be in CER, CRT, or PEM format and use Base64 for encoding and decoding. |
Authentication Mode |
Two-way and one-way authentication are supported. |
Upload Local Certificate |
If Authentication Mode is Two-way authentication, the local certificate must be uploaded. NOTE:
The local certificate file must be in the PFX or P12 format. The local certificate is only used for bidirectional authentication of syslog. |
If the sent logs can be found on the syslog server, the setting succeeds.
