Panel Port Configuration

NOTE:

This area is available only for the CX320, CX710, CX916, CX916L and CX920. Only the CX916, CX916L supports 25GE port conversion.

  1. In the Panel Port Configuration area, click Edit. Table 1 describes the parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Split 40G Panel ports

    Each of the selected 40GE ports will be split into four 10GE ports.

    Merge 10G Panel ports

    Each four of the selected 10GE ports will be merged into one 40GE ports.

    25GE port conversion

    Each of the selected 25GE ports will be converted to one 10GE port.

    NOTE:

    Select a port from ports 1–4 or 5–8 for conversion, and the other three ports in the same row will be selected and converted too.

    Flexible card (PIC)1

    MX517 can be configured. The card ports can be configured as FC ports.

    Flexible card (PIC)2

    MX517 can be configured. The card ports can be configured as FC ports.
    NOTE:

    After splitting or canceling splitting, the configuration of the ports will be lost. Please exercise caution.

  2. Click Save to save the settings.
