NOTE: This configuration is displayed when the working mode is Smart Channel.
The description of the parameters in the Fault Detection Configuration area is as follows:
- On: enables the fault detection function. After receiving a smart channel uplink fault message, the switch module checks the VLAN of the smart channel uplink and set the status of all the VLAN ports that connect to compute nodes to error-down. If the smart channel uplink recovers, the error-down ports recover as well.
- Off: disables the fault detection function.
