    xFusion Receives World's First Server Carbon Footprint Certificate

    Recently, Intertek Group plc, a global leader in comprehensive quality assurance services, awarded xFusion's next-level FusionServer 2288H V7 server with a carbon footprint certificate, which is the first global carbon footprint certificate issued by Intertek for server products. The certification not only reflects the outstanding performance of xFusion's V7 servers in low-carbon emission, but also demonstrates xFusion's commitment to low carbon, environmental protection, and sustainable development.

    The certificate award ceremony was held on January 5, 2023 in Shenzhen. Mr. Zhang Hua, General Manager of xFusion Server Products and Ms. Li Qiong, South China Regional General Manager of Intertek Electronic & Electrical Business Division, and other guests attended the ceremony.

    FusionServer 2288H V7, which has been awarded the Intertek carbon footprint certificate this time, is a next-generation 2U rack server designed specifically for the Internet, Internet Data Center (IDC), cloud computing, enterprises, and telecom applications. Through a comprehensive evaluation of the entire lifecycle from raw material acquisition, component manufacturing, whole machine production, transportation, to product disassembling and recycling, the next-generation V7 servers have made significant breakthroughs compared with the previous V6 servers. The carbon dioxide emissions of each 10,000 servers are reduced by 6000 tons over a five-year service life, reaching a leading position in the industry. xFusion has always focused on low-carbon production and operation of products. FusionServer 2288H V7 achieves carbon reduction by improving server energy efficiency and reducing power consumption. As an independent third-party quality service organization, Intertek has conducted scientific and rigorous review for the carbon footprint assessment of xFusion based on ISO 14067 and ISO 14044 standards, confirming that the assessment process is reasonable and the results are accurate and valid in terms of science and technology.
